The Brief
A millionaire super yacht owner approached our experienced and reputable team to work on the vessel’s interior lighting. Our experts visited the vintage teak-built three masted super yacht that was docked in Southampton. The client wanted us to install LED lighting due to the fact that the original low voltage fluorescent lighting was reaching the end of its life.
The Solution
Our team of professionals are capable of adapting to each and every client, and on this particular project, the client was very specific in what they wanted. With regards to the lighting, the owner of the super yacht requested that we use LED lighting but did not want the harsh effect. Instead, they wanted the lighting to match the dim and mellow look that complemented the interior colours of the vessel.
In order to meet the client’s expectations, our dedicated team designed LED Printed Circuit Boards that slotted in perfectly to the original light fittings. To give the super yacht owner the light spectrum requested, we adjusted the red, green and blue LED content.
